Way different than the taste I had in my mind. I don't know what I'd compare it to, it's just distinct. I thought it was going to be lots hoppier and not so sweet....... but once I got past my preconceived notions I thought it was a damn good drink.

Dogfish Head strikes again. This is a very drinkable Imperial IPA at 9%. It also ages very well.

What can I say... The 90-minute is one of the best Imperial IPAs out there. Tastey malt complexity that is in harmony with the hops.

This is an excellent IPA. It has a nice sweetness that balances the hops. It is the best IPA that I have tasted. Had to go to another state to find it.
After several re-taste and several months I have to say this is my most favorite beer. A bit on the pricey side but hey......

My favorite IPA at this time. Perfect blend of malt and hops. I'm a true "hophead", but the hops in this IPA do not overpower the rest of the beer. I can't imagine what the 120 minute IPA tastes like.

Agree that this one gets better as you work to the bottom of the glass and the beer warms up. Fantastic representation of the style, but like some others here, I'm not a huge IPA fan. If you're an IPA freak, then this one will be a 9 or 10 for you. (Pairs pretty well with meatloaf.)

a little better than both the 60 and 120 minute, but doesn't get a full on 10 because as i mentioned before, i'm not a huge IPA fan. but this one is pretty damn good.

Perfection in a bottle. This is a beer I could drink for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The taste gets better as it moves closer to room temperature...the sign of a good beer (for me).

This beer is like an ass-kicking in a bottle. But in a good way. I have no idea what that means...

Anyhoo, this beer truly rocks, as does the 60. Dogfish Head is a brewery I'd love to visit as they obviously are extremely passionate about beer-making.

The first and only 10 I've awarded... for the perfect beer. Delicious and brutal all at once.
